For this styled shoot at Caldera Estate, the brief was all about light, bright spring energy with a fresh take on one of the season’s standout colours, chartreuse.

We embraced a soft, contemporary palette featuring cymbidium orchids, dancing sprays of oncidium orchids, and delicate grasses that brought movement and texture to the design. The chartreuse tones added a modern edge while still feeling romantic and effortless against the dramatic Akaroa backdrop.

Florals were designed across both the ceremony and dinner settings, creating a cohesive flow throughout the shoot. The result was fresh, fashion-forward and a beautiful reminder that wedding florals don’t always need to follow tradition to make an impact.
