Celebrating Love

We love everything about events, from the planning, to the styling, to the florals. Here’s a few of the best bits to get you inspired.

MARC + JENNA’S BRIGHTON WEDDING

It was such an absolute pleasure creating florals for these two gems. They’re the most caring, genuine people and part of a beautiful family I’ve come to love. The wedding was going to be grown-up, classy but they were open to elements of fun and so we created using the best of seasonal blooms to create a palette to die for – soft pastels led by white and pale blue.

EVE + NGANE WEDDING

The most stunning location in North Canterbury on a stunning Summer’s Day, Eve and Ngane created the most beautiful wedding surrounded by family and friends. Eve curated an amazing event, where everything was fun and every detail considered, from the dress to the cake, marquee to the traditional dance she performed for her new husband.

NIKKI AND ANDREW AT MANTELLS

Nikki and Andrew celebrated their love on the 24th Feb at the intimate Mantells Mt Eden venue. I had the pleasure of flowering and photographing this special day in front of friends and family. Nikki looked stunning and her Italian long-lunch vibe was everything.

KIM + PETE  // THE BONELINE WEDDING

Wow. If you want to see a stunning venue, look no further than The Boneline in North Canterbury. Kim and Pete were married here in February, surrounded by friends, family and great food. Kim loved seasonal blues and opted for hues of white, blue and touches of peach, pink and lemon.

JUSTIN + LEXIE // KAIKOURA

When there’s only 40 people invited, you know it’s going to be an intimate affair. But, nothing could prepare us how beautiful this wedding set against the stunning rural landscape of Kaikoura was going to be. Photographed by the very talented Susanna Blatchford, this wedding combined some of the most beautiful wedding trends of 2020, while adding its’ own very special touches.

Lexie and Justin met at work and quickly became friends and then dated for a couple of years. While they’re based in Christchurch most of the time, Lexie’s family is from Kaikoura, and it was on her family farm they chose to exchange vows. The wedding had originally been planned for Port Douglas in July, but Covid put a stop to that. Plan B, however was everything but a second best option. With a stunningly gorgeous Rue de Seine wedding dress, beautiful Shona Joy bridesmaid dresses, dashing groomsmen in Rodd and Gunn suits, the bridal party were something to behold.

NADIA + JACOB WEDDING

Nadia and Jacob married at Formosa Golf Resort in Beachlands on a wild, windy day. The rain stayed away, but as a guest seeing the flowers whip around it was a little daunting. But they looked great. Nadia was fully on the pink vibe so we embraced it with pink reflexed roses in all the pink colours.

MIKAYLA + BEN // BETHELLS BEACH

Mikayla got in touch about her wedding flowers and I was immediately on board. She was after dried, natural colours with pops of orange and sage green. I loved it.

The wedding was at Flaxmere House in Auckland’s Bethells Beach. An all-in-one venue where the family were able to stay and hangout before and after the wedding and provided the most beautiful natural back drop for the ceremony out on the lawn. The wedding photos were shot, just down the road at the stunning black sand beach.

CLAIRE + CAM // PARNELL, AUCKLAND

After covid played havoc with their first wedding plans, this gorgeous Auckland couple pivoted and planned a smaller, more intimate affair at Crown Range Cellars in Parnell. Married by a friend, surrounded by family and a small group of friends this wedding was a beautiful ceremony… and party. The stunning venue didn’t need much by way of decoration, but we introduced dried flowers for a ceremony backdrop and on the tables. The beautiful Claire carried a natural dried floral arrangement.

REBECCA + KURT // DRIED FLORAL WEDDING

An intimate wedding at Flaxmere House in Auckland’s Bethells Beach was the setting for Rebecca and Kurt’s nuptials in February. It was a neutral palette request and I was happy to help.
